Fes Festival of World Sacred Music 2018

During XXIII editions, the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music was celebrated in order to merge art and spirituality, as well as to bring together and unite the different cultures of the world. Each year in the festival perform artists from diffrent faiths (Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Hindu) in a spirit of reciprocal respect and collaboration. The festival is traditionally held in mid-summer but this year the celebration will take place from the 22nd to the 30th of June.

During this year’s edition you will enjoy the performances of artists like Rachid Zeroual (Morocco), the male choir of San Efraín (Hungary), the choir Soweto Gospel (South Africa) or the flamenco Jesús Méndez (Spain). The event lasts a week and the performances can be enjoyed in various points of the city such as the scenarios of Garden Jnan Sbil, Bab Al Makina, Place Boujloud or Dar Adiyel among others.

The program includes all kinds of musical styles, world dances and cultural exchange forums which enrich listeners and participants of the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music. The Forum is an essential part of the festival where its protagonists discuss current issues that will take place on the following days.
