Private Desert Tour 5 days

DAY 1: MARRAKECH

Reception and assistance upon arrival at the Marrakech airport. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES GORGES

Pick up at your hotel or riad and exit towards south to visit Ouarzazate. On our way we will discover the amazing landscapes of the Atlas by continuing through the pass of Tizi n´Tichka of 2,260m high. We will make a short stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco´s most impressive fortified city, set of films like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven. Finally, we will arrive at Ouarzazate where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will continue heading the road of the Thousand  Kasbahs towards Skoura and from there we will cross the Valley of the Roses to finally reach the Dades Gorges, where we will spend a night.

Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3: DADES GORGES – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA

After breakfast we will set our course towards the Dades Valley and visit the incredible Todgha Gorges where we will stay until lunchtime. Rested and with renewed energies, we will take Merzouga direction to see the Jorf Palm Grove (famous for its dates) and Erfoud, a small town where we will have a chance to see a marble workshop. Once in Merzouga we will experience a camel ride towars the jaimas, where we will spend a night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in Morocco.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ALNIF – TAZARINE – VALLE DEL DRAA – AGDEZ – MARRAKECH

We will enjoy the sunrise at the desert and climb a great dune to take some pictures. After a typical Moroccan breakfast in our bivouac, we will return again on camels to our hotel to take a shower. By passing through the Tafilalet palm grove and the village of Rissani (origin of the dynasty Alauí), we will arrive at Alnif, where we will take the road that crosses the Anti Atlas. Amazed by the mountainous landscapes, we will arrive at Tazarine (important Berber town), N´kob and, finally, we will reach the Draa Valley and its surprising palm grove. After crossing the Anti Atlas by the Tizi n Tnifift port (of 1660 meters) we will get to Ouarzazate, where we will stop to have a meal. After lunch (optional) we will continue the road to Marrakech where we will spend a night.

DAY 5: MARRAKECH

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport at the scheduled time. Farewell from the staff and end of our services.
