2 Days Desert Tour from Fez

After breakfast, the trip will begin with the pick-up from your hotel or riad at 8 am, after that we will head towards Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas, a mountain range that extends above 350 kms from southwest to northeast of the country.

On our way we will pass by villages like Ifrane, also known as “Little Switzerland” for its architecture, one of the most famous berber cities of the country. You will go through the Ziz Gorges, sculped in volcanic rock and you will get to see the magnificent view of the Middle Atlas plateau.

We’ll cross the Ziz Valley and pass by more villages like Midelt or Erfoud on our way to Merzouga. This famous village will be useful as a key point to prepare the next activity. At sunset, we will go for a camel ride right before a dinner in the desert and go to sleep in an authentic nomad tent. The tents are perfectly equipped for a comfortable night in the desert.

We will get up early so we can see the sunrise in the desert while enjoying a breakfast and a Moroccan tea. When finished, we’ll head back to Fez while you get to enjoy the stunning views of the landscape that surrounds you.
