DAY 1 MARRAKECH
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation and dinner.
DAY 2 MARRAKECH
Breakfast and sightseeing tour of Marrakech, an imperial city founded a thousand years ago by the Almorávide dynasty at the foot of the Atlas mountains. Today the city of Marrakech is the main tourist attraction of the country. Among other places of interest we will visit the exteriors of the Koutubia Mosque, the Menara Gardens and Bahia Palace. We will finish the visit in the Jemaa el Fna Square, the living heart of the city and the city’s most important place for shows and encounters where we will be conquered by the Moroccan magic of its stalls offering an infinite variety of food and drink. It is here where we can listen to storytellers or musicians and see snake charmers, dancers and acrobats. Jemaa el Fna is a meeting place that really comes alive at night with hundreds of bars and clubs. Transfer back to the selected hotel. Accommodation and dinner.
DAY 3: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES
Pick up at your hotel or riad and exit towards south to visit Ouarzazate. On our way we will discover the amazing landscapes of the Atlas by continuing through the pass of Tizi n´Tichka of 2,260m high. We will make a short stop at the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco´s most impressive fortified city, set of films like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven. Finally, we will arrive at Ouarzazate where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will continue heading the road of the Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura and from there we will cross the Valley of the Roses to reach the Dades Gorges where we will spend a night.
DAY 4 DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA
After breakfast we will set our course towards the Dades Valley and visit the incredible Todgha Gorges where we will stay until lunchtime. Rested and with renewed energies, we will take Merzouga direction to see the Jorf Palm Grove (famous for its dates) and Erfoud, a small town where we will have a chance to see a marble workshop. Once in Merzouga we will experience a camel ride towars the jaimas, where we will spend a night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in Morocco.
DAY 5 MERZOUGA - FEZ
We will relish the sunrise at the desert experience and climb a great dune to take some pictures. After a typical Moroccan breakfast in our bivouac, we will return again on camels to the shelter to take a shower. Then we will take the road to Fez, passing by the beautiful Valley of Ziz, Errachidia and Midelt to the Cedar Forest where we will stop to visit the famous cedar of «Gouraud». We will continue crossing the Middle Atlas until we arrive in Fez in the afternoon, considered the intellectual and historical capital of Morocco, divided into three parts: Fez el bali (the old town), the new paret built during the French protectorate and the Jewish neighborhood. Fez has a magic medina with its well-preserved doors and walls and a breathtaking palace. Accommodation and dinner in Fez.
DAY 6 FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport at the scheduled time. Farewell from the staff and end of our services.
